Alessandra Feldstein
Alessandra is a passionate and adept litigator who combines her litigation experience and background in bioethics to advocate for professionals and regulatory bodies.
Prior to joining Glick Feinberg Stone, Alessandra articled with the in-house litigation team at the largest mental health hospital in Canada, where she represented the hospital and its physicians before administrative boards on complex, delicate, and emotionally charged matters.
Alessandra went on to represent professionals in a boutique health law practice involving a wide range of civil and professional regulatory matters. Her experience working in both in-house hospital litigation and representing professionals in civil and regulatory disputes provides Alessandra with a unique perspective when helping clients navigate the litigation process.
Before entering the legal profession, Alessandra obtained her master’s in bioethics from King’s College London, where she researched issues facing clinicians, researchers, and organizations. Alessandra earned her law degree from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where she was awarded the Stuart Clarke Lane Memorial prize for achieving the highest academic standing in Administrative Law and the Honourable W.A. Henry Prize for achieving the highest academic standing in Constitutional Law subjects. During her time at Dalhousie, Alessandra was an active member of the health law society, completed a placement at Halifax’s IWK Health Centre, and engaged in policy advocacy work at Dying With Dignity Canada.
Alessandra is passionate about community involvement, having regularly volunteered with the Newcomers to Canada English Conversation Groups to provide a welcoming space for immigrants and refugees to practice English and learn more about their new community.
Outside of her work, you can find Alessandra golfing, cheering for the Blue Jays, starting (but not finishing) a new knitting project, or competing in her local pub trivia.
